In this article we are going to bring you guys a detailed overview of Li-fi Internet which is 100 times faster than Wi-Fi.

Li-Fi (Light Fidelity), a new technology promises connections up to 100 times faster than Wi-Fi. According to researchers, this new technology transmits high-speed data using visible light communication, which would reach speeds of 1 Gbps, which is about 100 times faster than a standard WiFi.

Invention:

Professor Harald Haas, from the university of Edingburgh, pioneered the technology and coined the term Li-fi in 2011. Deepak Solanki, CEO of Velmenni, said the technology could be roled out to consumers within the next three to four years.

Limitations & Advantages:

The speed is down to the way in which it transmits data -by using Visible Light Communication (VLC), data is sent between networks by LED lights that flicket incredibly fast. However, the technology has one major limitation – because it relies on visible light to work, it can’t pass through walls.

However, which makes the network much more secure. the dramatically increased speeds make it a big improvement on current technology for some applications as well.

Future:

Due to Li-fi’s limitations, it would be likely to run in parallel with existing technology to increase a network’s speed and efficiency. Li-fi could become much more widely used, especially if it’s transmitted through our light bulbs.

As Said by Haas ” All we need to do is fit a small microchip to ever potential illumination device and this would then combine two functionalities (1. Illumination & 2) wireless data transmission)”.

How to back up your computer in windows ???

First of all you’ll need to get a backup drive. This can be just about any USB external hard drive, but since you aim to make a complete backup of your system, it’s best to opt for a drive with about twice the capacity of your computer.

So follow below steps to back up your files. First you have to connect your backup drive to your computer.If this is the first time you’ve plugged in the drive, it will ask you if you’d like to use the drive as a backup. If this happens, choose yes.
If you’re not immediately prompted to use your external drive as a backup, do this.
Open the Start Menu, type “backup” into the search box and choose “Backup and Restore” from the results. In the window that pops up, click on the “Set Up Backup button”, select the drive that you just plugged in and click Next until you reach the final window. On the last window, click “Save Settings and Run Backup”.
Once you have finished the setup process,your computer will automatically create backups of your system whenever the backup drive is plugged in and available.

How to disable the Windows key in Windows 7 ???

Steps follow to disable the Windows key in Windows 7
1.To start, hold the Windows key and press R.
2.Type “regedt32” in the Run dialog box and press Enter.
3.Under “Computer,” double click on “HKEY_LOCAL_ MACHINE “, then double click on “SYSTEM”.
4.From there, right click on “Keyboard Layout” highlight “New” and hit “Binary Value.” This will create a new entry on the left hand side of regedt32. Name this entry “Scancode map.”
5.Now comes the hard part. Right click on “Scancode map” and click “Modify.” Here’s what you’ll need to type in, and be sure to type in exactly the following, and no more or less, without the quotation marks or the period at the end:
“00000000000000000300000000005BE000005CE000000000.”
6.Once done, click OK and restart your PC.
When you boot back into Windows, the Windows key should be out of commission.

3.Choose Update and recovery from the list of options on the left of the PC settings window.

6.Locate Advanced startup, at the bottom of the list of options on your right.
7.Click on Restart now button.
