Linux operating systems have
many advantages as compared to other operating systems.Linux operating
systems are free from viruses and performance is better than windows
systems.
To install linux along with windows follow below steps
1.Make a bootable pendrive or CD with linux operating system which you want install.If you want know how to make bootable a pendrive click here.
2.In three ways we can install linux along with windows.And you should remember one thing that some Linux OS’s are may not install in all three ways,so you should check all ways.
Note :- It is better if you give separate partition to linux operating system.Because if you get any problem during installation it will not effect your windows drive.
Method 1
1.Insert your bootable pendrive to your computer and go to computer and open your pendrive.
2.Now click on item which you want install and choose installation type along with windows.
3.And now select installation partition,size,username and password etc.. then click on install button and wait until it completes.It will restart after sometime and wait until completion of installation.
Note :- if you get any error during method 1 then do installation in method 2 or 3.
Method 2
1.Connect your bootable pendrive to your computer and open installation file which is present on your computer and make sure do not open file which is present in pendrive.
2.Now follow same steps as mentioned in Method 1.
Note :- We can install many linux operating systems either in method 1 or 2 but some linux os’s may give some error during installation in method 1 or 2.For those os’s follow Method 3.
Method 3
Note :- For this method you should have bootable pendrive which is made by software (usb installer) not by commands..
1.Connect your bootable penrive or CD to your computer and restart your computer.
2.When you see starting screen press F12 and choose your pendrive or CD to boot.
3.Then it will ask you to choose try ubuntu or install ubuntu.Now select linux installation and wait until it finished.
4.Before completion of installation it will ask you to choose username and password etc..
5.When it is finished it will restart and when you see black screen just remove your pendrive from your computer.That’s it.
