How to upgrade Windows phone to Windows 10:

Follow these steps to download Insider Preview:

1)      Please proceed only if your phone is listed below:

HTC mobile                      : HTC One (M8) for Windows

Lumia 4 hundred series     : Lumia 430, 435, 520, 521, 525, 526, 530, 532, 535, 540

Lumia 6 Hundred series    : Lumia 620, 625, 630, 635, 636, 638, 640, 640 XL

Lumia 7 Hundred Series   : Lumia 720, 730, 735

Lumia 8 Hundred Series   : Lumia 810, 820, 822, 830

Lumia 9 Hundred Series   : Lumia 920, 925, 928

Lumia Thousand Series     : Lumia 1020, 1320, 1520

Requirements:

–>  Minimum of 8 GB of Memory

–>  Windows Phone 8.1 should be already installed on the phone at the time of purchase

–>  Version should be : version number is 8.10.14219.341 or earlier

Caution : It is a pre-release version (Windows Insider) software which may sometimes doesn’t always work as expected, and could cause your phone to stop working permanently.

          2)      Go to your windows store and search for the Windows Insider app in the Store from your phone. 

3)      Once it finishes downloading, open the Windows Insider app on your phone and follow the instructions to install Insider Preview. 

4)      You’ll have the option to choose whether you want to get new builds fast or slow.

5)      Choose Fast to get updates as soon as they’re available, or choose Slow to wait until builds are a little more stable before you update. 

6)      When you update your phone, it might need to restart more than once to complete your Insider Preview installation.

7)      You might need to wait up to 60 minutes for an automatic restart to happen before your phone gets the final Windows 10 update.
